The Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is a cluster of 5 small Islands located off Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The 5 islands consist of Gaya Island, Manukan Island, Mamutik Island, Sapi Island and Sulug Island.
Gazetted as a Marine Park in 1974, it is well known for its diving activities among visitors. Dive sites are usually a 10 to 15 minutes boat ride away from Gayana Marine Resort, Dive Center and are pretty much diveable all year round.
Being close to the equator, all seasons are generally good for diving. Between the months of December and March where the cold water currents may bring in some Whale Sharks. Besides having the local resident animals living among the coral reefs.
Kota Kinabalu International Airport is the just a 15 to 20 minute drive away from Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal.
