The Hardeep – originally known as the SS Suddhadib was a steam ship was built in 1918 in Honk Kong by Whampoa Dock Company. It has length of 68.11m, the beam 10.84m and height 5.43m. It sank on June 1st 1945, following a RAF bombing raid. A number of old World War Two bombs are in close proximity of the wreck.

b. Mid Ship: This includes ships bridge/wheelhouse
c. Stern: This section includes the first-class cabins, the rear cargo hold, the rear upper cabins and the tiller.
