White Bay – the chalk dive in Rødvig In Rødvig you will find a unique nature dive over a chalky white bottom with bright light and colorful contrasts. On sunny days, the sand and eelgrass take on an almost luminous glow. The dive starts from the stone beach south of the parking lot – remember the surface buoy and be aware of slippery rocks. Follow course 120 towards the bottom net posts, and enjoy eelgrass, boulders, small fish and the characteristic furrows in the chalk bottom. When turning, take course 300 back. The dive offers microscopic marine history from the Cretaceous period and is ideal for macro photography and nature experiences. Stay away from the stone area by the parking lot – it is shallow and difficult to get up. Please use a table/bench when setting up equipment, and if necessary, bring a mesh bag to collect trash.
