Diving in Split, Croatia offers exceptional scuba diving along the stunning Dalmatian Coast in the Adriatic Sea. When to dive Split

The best time for scuba diving in Split is from May to October, when Adriatic Sea conditions are warmest and visibility is often outstanding. Water temperatures range from approximately 18°C in spring to 25°C during peak summer. July and August provide calm seas and ideal conditions for boat diving, while September and early autumn offer warm water, fewer crowds, and excellent underwater visibility that can exceed 25–30 metres.

Split is well connected by international flights, ferries, and highways, making it one of the most accessible diving hubs in Croatia.
