Access to the DiveINN area is currently possible via only one asphalt road – from Senec through Železničná Street. Access around the lake is restricted and possible only past the barrier at the end of the so-called “divers’ road” (new regulation as of 2024).
This site is considered one of the cleanest lakes in western Slovakia, often referred to locally simply as a “lake.”
Underwater, divers can explore a varied environment including aquatic plants and algae, sunken cars, small boats, trees, rocky sections, a cable spool, an excavator bucket and much much more. The fish life includes carp, pike, and catfish. During certain periods in October, dozens of young eels can be found at depths of around three meters near the shore.
Typical visibility ranges from 7 to 10 meters.
On the northern shore, the dive center DiveINN provides organized access and facilities, including secured parking, toilets, covered seating areas with barbecue space, an easy water entry, a pier, five training platforms, and multiple underwater attractions (three 250-meter circuits). Air fills are available, including Nitrox and technical gas blends, along with equipment rental and sales. Since autumn 2024, diving and entry to the premises are subject to a fee, and prior contact is required to obtain the entrance gate code.
