Beautiful and healthy reef system. Hard coral, soft coral, fan coral. Okinawa is home to numerous fish, midges, octopuses, cuttlefish and reef sharks. In winter, you can hear the whales passing by Okinawa Island. Okinawa is also home to the USS Emmons, which were sunk during World War II. The boat is a deep dive with a top just below 130 feet and another 10-20 feet of sand beyond. Hedodom Cave Diving is another great cave that can be accessed via an underwater passageway.
