The dives are also conducted from the ground where it is possible to perform the two dives that appear before us. The sites have different diving points for all levels of experience, ranging from the shallow seabed rich in plant species including valuable ones such as Posidonia oceanica, to the rocky and coral substrates which offer all the flora and fauna typical of our Tuscan coast, not least the red coral (already a few meters deep) and the white, yellow and red gorgonians. In suitable seasons it is possible to see transient fish such as snappers, mobulas and eagle rays or sedentary species such as croakers, banded bream and groupers.
The dive site can be visited all year round, there are no seasons to avoid. The cliff is exposed to the prevailing winds of the second and third quadrant, therefore diving after strong south-westerly or strong mistral winds is not recommended. Given the steep nature of the rocky coast, diving is not recommended after heavy rainfall, which is rare in the area. The best moments occur after the sirocco winds when visibility reaches notable peaks.
The dive site is easily reachable by land along the SS1 Aurelia and parking on site, or by sea along our splendid rocky coast until you find the bridge with the golf course dominated towards the north by the typical watchtower. Following the road and having parked the site, it is possible to go down towards the sea along an easy path that passes right next to the turret and ends with a few steps right near the steel ladder that indicates the entry/exit point.
