Every dive in the Gulf of Orosei have its particular beauty.
Starting from the KT-12, a wreck from WWII, incredibly well conserved and among the best wrecks in the whole Mediterranean.
Or the caverns and caves, famous and visited from all around the world for the formations that are present inside, and part of the longest system of caves in Italy. Being really shallow and with a lot of dry rooms, they can be visited further than others, always following the safety standards.
Last but not least, the more than 20 dive spots for sport divers, showing amazing landscapes, passages and the best species in the Mediterranean. With a minimum depth of 6 meters, most of our dives can be enjoyed with an Open Water Diver certification, with a level of difficulty affordable for every level of experience
The best part of the year to visit the Gulf is from mid May to the end of October.
The visibility is always perfect, more than 20 meters. The water is between 17 degrees in May 28 degrees in August and September, enough to dive for at least 40 minutes inn a 5mm wetsuit.
The weather is usually good, with about two weeks of bad sea in total during the whole season.
This part of the year is the best moment to see barracudas, trigger fishes, groupers, amberjacks, octopus and many other species more rare, like stingrays, tunas, and even mola mola.
Cala Gonone can be reached easily with the car, with 1:30 hour of drive from the harbor of Olbia. The harbor is linked to the mainland from Genova and Livorno.
The Olbia airport is instead linked in summer with all the major airports in Europe, so that with no more than 2 hours of flight you can reach us from London. Once on the island, you can decide to rent a car, take a bus or contact us. In the last case we will book for you a transfer service, from and back to the airport, at the end of your holiday.
