Diving Symi

Explore diving Symi

There are a number of beautiful bays in which to see everything from octopus, rays, morays and sea grass beds of fish.

There are numourous shipwrecks dotted around the island incuding some missing vessels and aircraft waiting to be rediscovered.

There are fantastic wall dives dropping well below recreational limits for those who enjoy technical diving as well as some incredible cavern dives.

When to dive Symi

Symi's main tourist season is in the spring and summer time (from april through to september october) in which exposure suits of 3mm and less can be used however diving on Symi happens year round with the use of drysuits or 7mm Semi Drys

Getting to Symi in the spring and summer is easy, with ferries daily from rhodes harbour.

At other times of the year, ferries drop off in frequency to every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
