Tiger sharks are present throughout the year, while thresher sharks and hammerheads are most commonly seen between January and April. Water temperatures remain stable at 27–29°C, with visibility often exceeding 30 metres. While monsoon seasons influence surface conditions, diving remains excellent across all months, making Fuvahmulah Atoll diving one of the most reliable shark-diving destinations in the world.
Reaching Fuvahmulah dive sites begins with an international flight to Malé, followed by a domestic flight to Fuvahmulah Airport (approximately 1.5 hours). Once on the island, dive centres provide short boat rides or direct access to offshore channels and deep-water drop-offs.
