Richardson Beach Park
Overview
Description
Entry/Exit can be done at the steps or the black sand. It can be challenging with tide shifts and currents through the channel as it is a good surface swim out/back at any time, but Nov through Mar it can be dangerous with the NW swells. Pay mind to waves and currents, check in with lifeguards. Beautiful hard coral reef, abundant marine life, can be a 30ft-120ft dive depending on direction outside the wall/channel. As always, best to go with an experienced diver who knows the local waters.
