Description
Anchor Bay is famous for being the location where the movie Popeye, starring Robin Williams, was filmed. Its name comes from the anchor that was used as a buoy for barges transporting building materials to the village of Sweet Haven, the main setting of the film, which still stands today. This area is especially known for a beautiful underwater cave and the diversity of marine life it houses.
