Dhigurah Beyru is located near Dhigurah Island in South Ari Atoll. Situated on the outer rim of the atoll, the site is exposed to the open sea rather than the sheltered lagoon. The reef top starts relatively shallow at 5–8 meters and slopes down to a terrace around 30 meters, depending on the dive site.
Divers can expect schools of fusiliers, sea turtles, and eagle rays gliding through the blue, while moray eels, leaf fish, and a variety of macro life inhabit the reef itself. There is also the possibility of encounters with larger pelagics, including whale sharks and manta rays.
Due to its exposure, currents can range from moderate to strong depending on the tide and reef orientation, so experienced dive operators plan dives accordingly. Visibility is generally good on favorable days. The site is suitable for all levels of divers, though comfort in currents and open-water drift is recommended.
