It is the head of a promontory which divides two splendid inlets, with the famous bay of Mitigliano on the right. The underwater itinerary can start from both sides but focuses above all on the large stepped construction of the underwater pipelines that bring water to Capri. With a great visual and scenographic impact, the steps reach up to 35 meters. Sponges, spirographs, sea lilies, gorgonians and various molluscs cover the walls and some fish hide inside the fractures. Finding ourselves on a tip, passing fish is common. The slope on the left shows a gravelly bottom, with tufts of posidonia at a depth of 18 meters. and among the landslide boulders there are octopus, red mullet and bottom fish. The other side shows a vertical limestone wall full of ravines which meets a plateau at 18 m. to then sink towards a sandy bottom about 40 meters. The deep wall is covered with yellow gorgonians and crinoids, and lobsters are not infrequently encountered.
