The dive site is to be considered as an extension of the archaeo-industrial area behind it, therefore it is characterized by a distribution of relict metal structures or other decaying building artifacts that testify to the productive past of this district, active until the 1950s. from 1900. Hydraulic valves, trolley wheels, iron containers, tie rods, platforms and building materials are scattered everywhere, distributed in an incoherent matrix consisting mostly of dust and carbonate granules coming from the calcination furnaces, from accidental discharge into water during the operations of movement of the lime from the site to the boats, from the washout of the yards as well as from the natural erosion caused by atmospheric agents and wave motion.
