In the southern part of Kish Island, near the water park and close to the Saturn Crack dive site, lies an intriguing dive site known as the Date Ship. The name comes from the cargo of this small merchant ship, which sank here years ago and now rests on the seabed. During low tide, the bow of the ship emerges from the water, adding a distinctive charm to the location.
The seabed around the ship is covered with soft, smooth sand, interspersed with small sea urchins and vibrant algae. Although the ship’s structure has not completely disintegrated, many of its parts and components remain intact, enhancing the sense of adventure for divers. The site’s maximum depth, near the stern and the propeller, is approximately 5 meters.
