Arborek Jetty is a legendary jetty & macro dive/snorkel site on Arborek Island, Dampier Strait, Raja Ampat—one of the world’s best easily accessible underwater spots. Depth 3–19m, with mild to sometimes strong currents; ideal for all levels, especially photographers & macro lovers. The site centers on the village wooden jetty, whose pillars are thickly covered with vibrant soft corals, sponges, and hydroids. Beneath the jetty: massive tornado-like schools of silversides, sweetlips, batfish, and trevallies; jacks often hunt the baitfish clouds. Macro highlights include frogfish, nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, and electric clams; occasional turtles, blacktip reef sharks, wobbegongs, and even manta rays pass by. Visibility 10–25m, sunlight beams create magical light shows through the planks. Shore-entry friendly, great for day dives, night dives, and snorkeling—a must-visit in Raja Ampat.
