Hornbæk Plantage offers shallow, scenic dives with two rock reefs at a depth of approximately 6 meters, densely overgrown with sugar kelp and bladderwrack – both edible and healthy. The area is perfect for both day and night dives, and there is good visibility, wide biodiversity and the opportunity to practice buoyancy over sand belts. You can meet crabs, eel, starfish, sea urchins, hermit crabs and flatfish – maybe even eels. Entry is from the beach at the end of a forest path. Watch out for the large rocks at the start and wait to put on your fins until after the first reef. Follow 30° for 90 m or 280° for 60 m from the rock wall to find the reefs. The area is also fantastic on land with magnificent nature and tranquility. A versatile dive site for all levels – and some snacks from the sea.
