Omega Reef begins right under the boat with a miniwall bursting with life. Its sheltered spot allows coral and sponges to thrive, unlike exposed areas where storms limit growth. At just 25 feet in places, light penetration keeps the reef vividly colorful.
Though it’s tempting to stay near the boat, Omega Reef offers a two-for-one dive. Head north for a few minutes, and you’ll reach the main wall at 60 feet. While not a ‘true’ wall dive, a relaxed cruise there and back makes for excellent exploration. Keep an eye out for the occasional Cero, also called Kingfish, darting through the water—where they’re rushing off to remains a mystery!
