Some ridges have sand buildup on only one side due to prevailing currents—a fascinating natural phenomenon.
In the sandy areas, Hogfish are a common sight. With long snouts perfect for digging in the sand, they also sport three distinctive trailing extensions behind their head. Often, a Bar Jack shadows them, turning from silver to black while following—an intriguing colour change behaviour unique to this species!
