The entrance to Tori’s Reef is located at the second and southern-most red and white bridge that spans the drainage channels from the salt ponds. The entry is via the outflow channel where divers can use the flat rocks to access the water, be cautious when the doors to the outflow are open. There is a large sand patch in the area between the entry point and the mooring buoy which sits approx. 70m from shore. Keep an eye out around the mooring and it’s surrounding sand patch for turtles, spotted eagle rays, spotted trunkfish and flounders. In the shallows just beyond the mooring buoy, there is an abundance of soft coral. The dive site alternates between sand channels and reef lines, with an initial gradual slope from 6-12m until a steep drop-off occurs the further north you swim. It is a beautiful reef with healthy coral coverage of various hard and soft coral, there are also large schools of brown chromis populating the mid-water. This site is enjoyed as a shallow dive within 18m.
