This Marine Park is a plenty of submerged rock formations where microorganisms that form the base of the food chain settle. There are many dive site known by locals as "Riscas" or "Cabeços", like "Cabeço do Arrastado" or "Risca do Meio".
You can find in these warm and clear waters lots of fish and another marine animals like moray eels, nurse sharks, and many others.
