The reason for the sinking is unknown, but there are rumors that it was intentionally sunk by the crew to pull off a scam and collect the insurance money. 29 tons of frozen sardines and fish were seized and donated to charities. The fishing equipment found on board and seized, was valued at the time at the amount of 300 thousand US dollars, this equipment was sent to the Fisheries Research Center in the Northeast. The shipwreck is in a navigable position at a depth of 30 to 39 meters inside All Saints Bay. This is an excellent dive site for Advanced Open Water Divers and Wreck Divers and Technical Divers. The ship was 40 meters long and 8 meters wide.
