Scuba diving in Salvador, the capital of Bahia, offers diverse diving experiences for all levels. In Salvador’s Bay of All Saints “BTS” (the biggest of Brazil the second biggest of the world) explore vibrant reefs, historic wrecks and artificial ones in calm warm waters all year round. Salvador has more than 25 dive sites, some can be reached by shore, others by boat. Some are shallow 5m others deep reaching 45m, also there are some excellent spots for snorkeling and whale watching activity.
Praia do Forte is a charming eco-friendly fishing village 80 km from Salvador and over there some common activities are snorkeling and whale watching. Some resorts offer scuba diving.
Morro de São Paulo is a car-free, tropical island village on Tinharé Island in Bahia Brazil. Accessible only by boat or plane from Salvador. Snorkeling and diving are popular activities.
Porto Seguro the oldest city in Brazil, it’s a charming town with wonderful beaches. Porto Seguro has natural pools, coral walls and wrecks. Some common activities are snorkeling and scuba diving.

Salvador - with year-round warm temperatures and excellent conditions inside the Bay of All Saints "BTS", you can plane your trip any month of the year to Salvador. Its good to know that its rainy season (June-August) , so plan your scuba diving trip between the months of (September–May).

To reach Salvador of Bahia, the easiest way is to fly into Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA), which has direct flights from major Brazilian cities like São Paulo (GRU/CGH), Rio de Janeiro (GIG / SDU), Brasilia (BSB), Recife (REC), Fortaleza (FOR), Manaus (MAO) and others.
The airport offers direct flights also to some INTERNATIONAL destinations such as Lisbon (LIS), Madrid (MAD), Paris (CDG), Buenos Aires (EZE/AEP) , Montevidéu (MVD), Santiago (SCL) and Panama City (PTY) as well as international connections from the USA, Asia, Africa and Europe.
To reach Praia do Forte from Salvador there are bus line , shuttle ride or car's rental.
To reach Morro de São Paulo from Salvador only by boat or flight.
To reach Porto Seguro fly into Porto Seguro Airport (BPS) from major domestic airports.
Trains are not a viable option for Bahia. Flying remains the fastest and most convenient choice for scuba divers visiting Bahia, Brazil.
