The Pichlinger See is certainly the "home area" for many divers from Linz and the surrounding area. The "East Bay" area is very popular with divers. There is a gravel zone in the bank area that is ideal for practice and training dives. Conditions and visibility can be very different. In general, however, one can say that the Pichlinger See usually offers the best conditions for diving in autumn (with visibility of 5-7 m).
