Romania is located in South-East Central Europe. The diving takes place along the Black sea, although cave and lake diving is popular.
There are numerous lakes and the mountain glacial lakes in the South Carpathians are very clear. Caves are very popular in Romania and because of the low salinity in the Balck Sea most of the wrecks are very well preserved.
The Sadu is a cargo boat of 106 metres which sank in 1988 and is on her side at 90 degrees and can be entered. For cave divers, the Isverna cave - the most interesting place for cave diving in Romania is Isverna cave which is in the Apuseni mountains.
