When to dive Suva

The best time to go scuba diving in Suva, Fiji is during the dry season from May to October, when visibility is highest and ocean conditions are calm. These months offer sunny skies, lower humidity, and excellent underwater clarity – ideal for diving and photography. November to April is the wet season, bringing warmer water and more plankton, which can attract larger marine life like manta rays. While diving is possible year-round, the off-peak months (February and March) see fewer tourists, offering quieter dive sites and better deals. Always check local forecasts for cyclonic activity in the wet season.
