Saint Bernard is the most popular site to visit here. It's a 9 island archipelago, with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters home to a wide variety of corals like Elkhorn, Brain and Pineapple.
Many species of fish inhabiting the reefs such as Surgeon, Squirrel, Angel, Butterfly and sometimes the lucky divers get to witness Barracuda, Grouper, Dolphins, Turtles or Sharks.
There's more than 20 dive sites in the area.
In the area of Covenas, there's a project called Diaspora, consisting of many sunk structures in order to regenerate corals and improve the biodiversity of fish there. Wreck divers can also enjoy the many wrecks here.
January to April are generally windy with rougher conditions (for travelling).
In May starts rainy season, although it gets heavy in August-September. This makes the waters calmer but some days there might be thermoclines.
