After descending a short distance to the left of buoy 1, you will discover a nudibranch area with a variety of sea slugs. The sand area located in front of area 1 is a sand patch where rays and camouflaged flatfish rest on the seabed. Continuing out towards the sea brings you to massive underwater rock formations. There is plenty to see and all of this cannot be done in one tank. Along the way to each of the eight locations are holes and crevices where octopi love to hide. If you are lucky and look carefully, sea branches become homes to passing seahorses. Depending on the season, you might even be lucky enough to see squid drifting through the open water and clusters of squid eggs clinging to underwater branches or seagrass.
