The Cross is a multi-level dive that begins at a comfortable 3 meters above a shallow area teeming with intertidal life. We then drop to a rocky bottom where the first huiros begin to appear, before fully entering the underwater Huiro Palo jungle, which is usually covered in krill, the whales' food source. Continuing the dive, we reach a depth of 17 meters where "La Congriera" (The Conger Eel) is located, a hiding place and refuge for dozens of individual fish known as conger eels, similar to moray eels, up to 1.5 meters long. For more experienced divers, we continue the dive to 32 meters, where it is possible to observe stony corals and pink gorgonians.
