El Salto is an advanced dive site from start to finish. We launch near the surf at point A, and with three possible routes, we make our way to point B. This dive site is pure delight for the most adventurous divers; its walls, alleyways, ravines, and underwater mountains teeming with colorful sponges, along with the abundance of fish, make the dive an absolutely wild experience. We free dive, without a line but with the visual reference of the imposing initial wall, which we follow for about 40 meters until we have to decide whether to go west, outside the canyon, following the deepest and most exposed route to the Pacific Ocean. The second option is to take the main canyon; after 30 meters on the right wall, you'll find a beautiful wall of colonial sea anemones. The third alternative is to go above, between 18 and 14 meters, through alleyways.
