A site that can be done in northerly winds and little to no swell. Slot cave is more like a cavern with light access the whole way through, The bottom of the cave sits in approx. 12-14m and has a gradual decrease in depth towards the back, leading you back up to the surface. Inside the cave entrance there is beautiful corals and macro life living in the cracks with the odd wobbegong sitting on the sandy bottom. During summer the visibility inside the cave is often crystal clear even if the vis outside is average. This is a must do site if you like something a little different and exciting!
As you exit the cave keep the rock wall on your left and you can either follow it out deeper where there is a lot of sponge and coral gardens where you can find lots of macro life, or you can stick to the rock wall which will lead you to Double Decker Cave.
