Diving Swaraj Dweep

Explore diving Swaraj Dweep

Swaraj Dweep (formerly Havelock Island) is the most popular island for scuba diving in the Andamans and has access to over 20 dive sites, including the best ones in the region. With wrecks, gorges, pinnacles and walls, each dive site is unique with a diverse variety of marine life from sharks, manta rays, turtles, dugongs and barracudas frequently spotted. Schooling fishes are seen by the thousands in these clear waters.

There are several PADI 5-star IDC dive centres at Swaraj Dweep where one can get certified as an Open Water Diver and all the way to a Scuba Instructor. The island is also home to exquisite Radhanagar Beach that has often topped the list of the best beaches in Asia. The legendary Rajan, the last of the swimming elephants in the Andamans, lived here.
