Overview
Description
The Spanish Barges are a series of 4 individual wrecks, 2 of which are believed to have been dumped there in the 1950s during the refurbishment of the jetty. The other two wrecks, which lay further from the shore were sunk in the 1980s as part of Gibraltar's artificial reef program which has since become a haven for life and has helped regenerate the local marine life
