Welcome to one of the most famous diving sites on the island of Vis. The B-24 Liberator is a legendary wreck from World War II, lying at a depth of 38 meters, encompassing the cockpit, engines, and wings in one intact block. Upon arrival by boat at the diving site, you will descend via a rope connecting the surface to a nearby concrete block near the wreck. Spending a few minutes as an advanced open water diver is possible, but be cautious not to stay too long at the bottom as decompression stops come quickly at this diving site! The descent is swift, but the ascent should be done gently - 38 meters of free ascent, TAKE YOUR TIME!
The mains part (the cockpit) is at 38 meters and the tail of the plane is at 55 meters.
