Dong Hyuk Cho

When Dong Hyuk Cho began one of his acting roles, it would become instrumental in representing scuba diving to the world. His filming director (who was also a dive instructor) sang the praises of the underwater world to Dong. Dong quickly discovered the ocean was a place he could enjoy and rest. At the encouragement of acquaintances, he continued his dive training, earning his PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification in September, 2020. When Dong isn’t promoting a healthy diving culture as a PADI AmbassaDiver™, you may find him on set for his latest drama, movie or variety show, or taking a well-earned break at his home base in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
