Andy Phillips

PADI Course Director

Andy Phillips has been working as a dive professional for over 20 years, traveling throughout Southeast Asia, South Africa, Australia, Micronesia, South America, Central America, the Caribbean and the Red Sea. Phillips has been awarded the PADI Platinum status as Course Director every year since it's inception and has spoken at the DEMA show on several occasions. Having trained thousands of instructors at all levels and setting up a global network of dive professionals, his current role as director of professional training at the Utila Dive Centre, a PADI Career Development Centre in the Bay Islands of Honduras, is where he gets to do what he does best: teach. “My job is to encourage as many divers as possible to live the life of a dive professional and explore, conserve and enjoy this beautiful planet, both above and below the surface, at recreational and technical levels,” he says. In addition to his numerous PADI credentials, Phillips also holds a Master of Science in e-commerce.
