  1. Confirm you have a strong data/internet connection.
  2. Ensure your mobile device is running the latest version of Android’s operating system or Apple’s iOS.

I just got certified, how long will it take for my PADI card to arrive?

If you recently earned a new PADI certification, congratulations!

  • PADI Divers in South America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela), Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa receive PADI eCards and have the option to purchase a physical card.
  • Divers in other regions should receive their certification card by mail within a few weeks.

If more than one month has passed:

  1. Confirm your dive center or instructor does not have your card (some instructors and dive shops request diver certification cards be sent to them directly).
  2. If your instructor or dive center doesn’t have your card, ask them to verify the mailing address submitted for your certification.
  3. Contact the customer service department in your region. Please include your full name, date of birth, the certification level you’re inquiring about (Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, etc.).

I have a Junior Diver certification, how do I get a card without Junior on it?

Any replacement cards purchased after the diver turns 15 will automatically be printed without the “Junior” designation.

All you have to do to upgrade a Junior Diver card to a standard certification level is order a replacement card for the Junior certification level. If the diver is 15 years of age or older, the new card will not have Junior on it.

How do I get a gold PADI card?

Divers who complete a certification with a PADI 5 Star Dive Center or Resort automatically receive a gold card instead of the standard blue card. If you would like a gold certification card, search for a Five Star PADI Dive Center or Resort and complete a course with one of their instructors.
