African Dive Adventures

Shark sightings and interactions are almost guaranteed on every dive with African Dive Adventures.

We don't often have a dive without some sort of Shark Encounter. Protea Banks is one of the worlds top three Shark Hotspots. When diving the Banks you can have close encounters with, Tiger Sharks, Hammerheads, Blacktips, RaggedTooth Sharks, Giant Guitar Sharks, Blacktips and more. 

African Dive Adventures was established in 1994  and is the real pioneers of Protea Banks. Our dive masters and skippers are very well trained and  experienced . They will charm you with their own brand of hospitality that will make you want to come back for more.

 Due to current and depth you need to be an advanced diver with at least 35 logged dives. Best also if you have dived in the last year. Apart from our reef dives we also offer adrenaline rush  Baited Dives. If you enjoy real close encounters with sharks, then this is the dive for you.  If you are a keen photographer then get ready for some great photo opportunities on this dive.

While diving with us you can stay in the lovely Diver Villa. Great for Groups or individuals. It has 6 rooms  which are all on suite. There are three double rooms and three single, but beds can be added to suit the needs of a group. The Villa has a Swimming Pool  and braai facilities with great sea views.  All self catering  with a Shopping Mall within walking distance. 

We also offer Padi Dive Courses from Open Water to Dive Master level. 

*** Each year during June and July, we offer thrilling pelagic encounters as they follow the Sardine Run up the coast, operating out of the Ocean View Hotel in Coffee Bay. This is an  amazing spectacle not to be missed.....nature at its very best.
