PADI eLearning Cost: Knowledge development is the first step in your dive certification. You can purchase PADI eLearning and study at your own pace. In-Water Training Cost: After completing your PADI eLearning, you will begin your in-water training with your chosen Dive Shop. Please contact your Dive Shop for pricing as costs may vary by location. Notify your Dive Shop if you have already purchased your eLearning.
The required steps to become a certified diver are flexible and performance based. For new divers, an Open Water Diver certification on average takes 3-5 days. However, you can choose different options based on your learning preferences, visit our Learn to Dive page to see all options.
PADI dive education and dive certifications fall under recreational diving or professional diving: Beginner, Continuing Education and Professional.
Beginner: PADI Open Water Diver is the first dive certification. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to dive at home or abroad up to 18m/60ft.
Continuing Education: Expand your knowledge and dive skills after you have received your Open Water Diver certificate.
