“To build bridges between people and the ocean through accessible storytelling, education, inclusive representation, and meaningful conservation initiatives, so as to empower a more diverse, global community of conscious and compassionate divers.”
Biografie
Gaby Salvador is a former teacher turned ocean advocate, underwater photographer, storyteller, divemaster, and freediver. After years working in education in Mainland China, she decided to follow her passion for the sea: a journey that led her to live, work, and document some of the world’s most ecologically significant marine environments, such as the Great Barrier Reef and Raja Ampat. Gaby blends her background in education and environmental humanities with science communication, community engagement, and underwater imagery to connect people both emotionally and intellectually to the ocean. Through her work, she inspires awareness, responsibility, and meaningful action for marine conservation.
