Hotel Guanaja & Guanaja Dive Center

As a PADI Eco Center and Green Fins Member, we actively support environmental, research, and community initiatives in Guanaja, combining responsible diving with meaningful local involvement.

Our Diving, Freediving, and Technical Diving programs are customized to each group. We explore sites around the entire island and offer relaxed, unhurried dives. 

Our nearly new MARES equipment supports up to 20 recreational divers, together with a new air compressor, Silent Submersion Minnus DPVs, full night-diving equipment for bioluminescence dives, Underwater Metal Detectors, and underwater cameras.

Safety and comfort are our highest priorities. We follow strict procedures and maintain a calm, professional operating style. Our safety equipment includes DAN oxygen kits with Philips AEDs, Iridium satellite communication, USCG-approved first-aid kits, life rafts, and surface safety floats.

We are also a fully equipped technical diving facility, offering Technical Nitrox, Trimix, CCR, backmount, and sidemount diving and training. We support groups of up to 10 CCR divers, with dedicated oxygen and diluent cylinders, oxygen boosters, CO₂ absorbents, gas analyzers, stage cylinders, and complete technical equipment.

Our spacious hotel cabins "cabañas" have been recently renovated to provide comfort and privacy. Guests also enjoy excellent cuisine and personalized service from a dedicated team.
