One Ocean Zanzibar

One Ocean Zanzibar holds the distinction of being Zanzibar's first and most reputable PADI 5-Star dive center. 

One Ocean Zanzibar operates from three locations: Stone Town, Matemwe, and Kendwa.Stone Town

This page is dedicated specifically to One Ocean Kendwa where we run daily trips to explore Tumbatu island and Nungwi's reefs. These sites offer some of Zanzibar's best corals, schools of fish, nudibranchs, and other unique macro life. If you’re lucky you can also encounter turtles and stingrays.

Our traditional dhow boat leaves for two trips a day:

Morning trip: we do 2 dives (each session is about 45-60 minutes) around Tumbatu Island or Nungwi reefs 

Meeting time is in the morning (between 8:00 am and 10:00 am) and we are back after 5-6 hours (between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm), depending on the tide.

Afternoon trip: we do 1 late afternoon dive (about 45-60 minutes) around Tumbatu Island or Nungwi reefs followed by 1 night dive (max 45 minutes) at Renco Bomi or one of the Nungwi reefs.

More than just a dive trip—this adventure offers you a front-row seat to a stunning sunset, a mesmerizing starlit sky on your way home, and if you're lucky, a magical bioluminescent display.

Meeting time is between 3 and 3:30 pm depending on the dive site of the day and we are back around 8:00 pm
