PADI Dive Center
Haliotis Dive Center is located in Santa Maria, in the Azores, a destination known for its striking blue water, excellent visibility and exciting pelagic encounters.
Diving around Santa Maria offers a wide range of sites, from caves, canyons and walls to reefs and open-water areas where encounters with mobulas and other pelagic species are always a possibility. The island is especially known for the Mobula tarapacana, considered one of Santa Maria’s most iconic marine visitors.
The dive center is well equipped for a comfortable dive experience, with male and female changing rooms, hot showers, towels, rental equipment and a small shop. Dives are operated from a custom-designed boat built with divers’ comfort and efficiency in mind.
