Founded in 1998, Manta Dive & Snorkel Cancun has spent over 25 years being the best "little" dive center in Cancun, a PADI 5-Star team running our own boats every day of the year from the Hotel Zone marina.

What we dive: the MUSA underwater museum and its coral-covered statues, the reefs of the Mexican Caribbean, the C-55 and C-58 wrecks, the crystal cenotes of the Riviera Maya, the walls of Cozumel, and the protected reef at Puerto Morelos. Bull sharks gather off our coast every winter. There is no month here without something worth the boat ride.

Training runs from a first breath underwater with Discover Scuba all the way to Divemaster. eLearning is included on our courses, our Rescue course includes the EFR first aid certification and the navigation dive so Open Water divers can enroll directly, and every student is covered as a DAN student member.

One thing guests love: divers, snorkelers, and first-time divers share the same boat, so a mixed group never has to split up. Bring the whole family and everyone gets their own version of the same afternoon. Small groups, gear fitted to you, and a crew that has been doing this together for years.

And one thing we refuse to do: many Cancun operators advertise a low price online, then collect invented "dock taxes" and "park fees" in cash when you arrive. There is one real marine park fee here, it costs a few dollars, and we pay it for you. Our price includes everything, nothing is collected on arrival, and if that makes us look a little more expensive online, so be it. We will not start our relationship with you on a lie, because the "cheaper" tour ends up costing more.

Whether it is your first dive or your five hundredth, we will be straight with you about conditions, sites, and what fits your experience. That is the whole way we run the shop.
