Shark Expedition Fuvahmulah

Welcome to Shark Expedition Fuvahmulah Dive Center. We are a full-service provider that offers complete travel solutions to Fuvahmulah, including scuba diving, freediving, scuba diving courses, dive trips to nearby atolls, fishing trips, as well as domestic flights and accommodation with meal plans.

We are conveniently located on the north side of the island, next to the famous Thoondu Beach. Our Dive Center is based in the lobby of the Maathundi Hotel, offering seamless access to both diving adventures and premium accommodation.

We provide daily diving at the world-renowned tiger shark point, as well as reef, pelagic and blue water dives. Here you can spot often Thresher Shark, Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks (seasonal), Whale Sharks, Oceanic and Reef White Tips, Grey Reefs, as well as Oceanic mantas (seasonal), Mola Mola and all the usual suspects that inhabit our beautiful reefs. Also, due to the special geographic nature and location of our island, it is not strange to encounter dolphins and all types of cetaceans nearby. 

Our fleet includes two dive boats designed to accommodate both small and large groups, along with a speedboat available for private hire, ensuring flexibility and comfort for all our guests.

The Shark Expedition team is PADI certified and led by Nazee, a very experienced PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT). Nazee counts with the unmatched expertise and passion of Professor Shah, a pioneer of diving in Fuvahmulah who was among the first to discover the island’s underwater treasures. Shah has over 28 years of diving experience in the Maldives and abroad, and we are lucky to have him as a member of our team.
