Located in Tosashimizu City, Kochi Prefecture, the Tatsukushi Sea is a beautiful area designated as part of Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park, and is home to a rich array of marine life influenced by the Kuroshio Current.
It is characterized by its dynamic topography, with several crevasses scattered throughout the open ocean, and is full of irresistible spots for divers who enjoy the topography.
You can also observe migratory fish, colorful tropical fish, and over 107 types of coral, and enjoy the changes that occur with the seasons. Migratory fish are particularly active from summer to autumn, and over 400 types of sea slugs can be seen from winter to spring, allowing you to experience the beautiful changes in the ocean with each season.
