Dive Base 37

Dive Base 37 is a diving service located in Etchu Miyazaki, on the border between Toyama and Niigata prefectures. It's a three-hour Shinkansen ride from Tokyo Station, and just over a four-hour drive from Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Enjoy a relaxing time while listening to the sounds of the waves of the Jade Coast. We offer underwater guided boat and beach dives for individual divers, as well as expedition tours for dive shops. Our resort-style facility is located right in front of the port, within walking distance of the boat dock and the beach! We provide tables and chairs for each group. We also offer camera buckets, heated equipment washing and drying areas, and heated showers and women's-only changing rooms. We also provide in-store air charging for fresh air. Highlights: Etchu Miyazaki, where the Toyama plains end, is the northern limit of warm-temperate plants along the Sea of Japan coast and the beginning of the northern end of the Northern Alps, towering in the center of Japan. The ridge extending from the Hida Mountains, a series of 3,000-meter-high peaks, continues with mountains like Mount Shirouma and Mount Asahi, and its end sinks into the Sea of Japan. The dynamic landscape of the mountains, with their massive walls over 20 meters high and steep roots, stretches 1,200 meters from the coast, and is a crossroads between northern and warm-temperate species. Located exactly in the center of the Sea of Japan, this area is said to have once been a cape, where Jindo Shrine was once located, making it a power spot passed down through local lore. The clear blue waters offer schools of fish that obscure the view, colonies of coral reefs that add a unique touch to the ocean, colorful sea slugs that sparkle like jewels in the ocean, caves bathed in showers of light, and jadeite treasure hunting at Jade Beach, where sudden fortunes are just a dream.
