About the The Hatiku
The Hatiku is 125 feet (38m) long and 20 feet (6m) wide. The Hatiku is officially launched in November 2014, but is going into service June 2015. The The Hatiku offers the following diving activities: Boat diving, manta diving, muck diving and snorkeling. Attention has been given to every little detail of the The Hatiku to ensure that your dream dive holiday becomes reality The Hatiku's aspiration is to not only offer exceptional diving but also great comfort and family style atmosphere.
The liveaboard is a beautiful, traditional Indonesian Phinsi Schooner, a platform for the restless modern-day adventurers who want to get a glimpse of the underwater beauty of Komodo. Regarding the The Hatiku's schedules, the dive sites and the time of year were chosen to offer the best experience when diving these world famous destinations. The ships concept is holistic, in that besides offering great diving in the Komodo it also wants to provide a great above water experience of which the food offering plays a crucial part. Divers created the menu because they know which food will provide strength and energy during a dive safari. Rather than the typical liveaboard food, you will be able to choose from a buffet and its fine cuisine. Furthermore they are also serving snacks all day, vegetarian food, halal food, gluten free food and kosher food.
The ship has air-conditioning. For the time when you are not diving, the The Hatiku features many entertainment options: Movies, audio-video entertainment, a library and fish identification sessions and snorkeling and kayaking.Nitrox is available at no extra charge. They offer rental equipment. They are also offering Airport transfer (pick-up from airport), Airport transfer (return to airport) and hotel pick-up (free)
To ensure your safety the Liveaboard is prepared: They have first aid kits, vhf radio, emergency oxygen kit, lifejackets, emergency positioning radio beacon and lifejackets for kids.
About the team
The team consists of 12 people. There are 3 dive professionals on board, who will ensure that the guests have a great diving experience. The manager/management team is Indonesian. English and Indonesian are spoken on the The Hatiku.
