What you’ll do

The goals of the Whale Shark Awareness course is to introduce students to the biology, behavior and distribution of the whale shark. Teaching how to identify individual sharks. To dispel negative myths about sharks and to inspire you to help sharks by taking action.

Introducing proper recreational diving techniques for responsible interaction
An overview of whale shark research and worldwide conservation status
Enabling divers to plan, organize and execute a whale shark dive in a safe and passive manner
Emphasis the importance of whale shark conservation
